Well we're here! We made it by cruise ship...thank goodness they had a pool to keep the short one busy! It was really funny....when I walked aboard all I could think of was the Regal Beagle from Three's Company. We met a couple who just got married and are here on their honeymoon. We had the usual trouble getting settled finally in the hotel. Megan got on one of those huge water trampolines and we went to the beach. We were trying to get drinks but it was election day yesterday so no booze till 6:30. I only had one Bahama mama my first day! We went to dinner and then crashed at the hotel....we are currently trying to decide what to do today. Andrew wants to go to the liquor stores and buy cheap booze. I want to rent scooters and go to the west end and find deserted beaches and find treasure. I know the pool is in our future today.....Megan is bored....spoiled beyond repair is more like it. I think I will send her to live with grandpa and let him put her to work and then see what she says. We have taken lots of pics but can't post any until we get back :(

Caterpillar-Chrysalis-Butterfly!

Okay weeks ago Megan went on a field trip to the Lucas Nursery, they were learning all about how a Butterfly turns into a Butterfly...? So they sent the kids home with their very own milkweed plant to watch a baby Caterpillar turn into a chrysalis then finally a butterfly. We have all been amazed at this transformation. Our first caterpillar is in the chrysalis state. Andrew went and bought another milkweed because this caterpillar was such a pig. I guess that one had a caterpillar on it too because one morning we were checking on our chrysalis and found a baby caterpillar. These things grow soooo fast. So Andrew got mad at me because the first time I didn't take pictures everyday of the transformation so this time I am. Pretty cool.
